We make soy candles for Christian women to help you and your loved ones rest, refresh your home and remember your faith. A portion of every purchase from our candle gift shop is donated to charity, Christian ministries, non-profits, schools and youth sports.
It is a joy to provide a unique collection of Christian gifts and clean candles that give back to various local and national organizations. Our customers can smile and be encouraged knowing that their favorite 8oz candles, soy wax melts or scripture coffee mug is also supporting a good cause.
We are more than a Christian candle company. Your purchase helps to illuminate God's light into the hearts of those in need. A portion of our proceeds each month are donated to a non-profit such as at-risk youth through Olive Crest, families in need through Lakewood Project Shepherd, senior citizens through Meals on Wheels, local churches and ministries across through USA. Our goal is to glorify God, serve our customers like they are family, and give cheerfully to those in need.
Let's take a moment to spotlight the wonderful organizations that our candles give back to with your help. According to their website, Olive Crest is dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis. Through the healing power of God, family and community, they are transforming the lives of children and families. This organization began in 1973 when Dr. Don and Lois Verleur took in four teenage girls and opened their home to children. The name Olive Crest symbolizes "peaceful family" and was inspired by the olive tree in their front yard. We had the awesome privilege of volunteering at their Bellflower location and we continue to give back a portion of our sales to further their mission.

Lakewood Project Shepherd is another organization that is near to our heart and within our community. The city website describes Project Shepherd as a non-profit run by the City of Lakewood and the Rotary Club of Lakewood. Since 1972, this neighbor-to-neighbor assistance program has collected canned goods, dry staples, toys, backpacks and personal care items to distribute to Lakewood families in need throughout the year and around the holiday season. If you are on our email list, then you know that twice a year, we notify customers that their orders during certain time periods will help provide backpacks for school age children in Lakewood (August) as well as food and Christmas toys for families (November/December). Giving back to an organization right in our city means the world to us and our customers.

Because we serve believers all across the USA, we wanted to glorify God and donate to organizations and ministries outside of California as well. Their website states that PreBorn is based in Indiana and they are on a mission to glorify Jesus Christ by leading and equipping pregnancy clinics to save more babies and souls. They provide free ultrasounds and support to expecting mothers as well as evangelism support and additional resources to pregnancy clinics. This cause is a personal one for me as I was born to a teen Mom who chose to give me life. I'm grateful to Jesus and thankful to my Mom for her sacrifice through it all and wanted to give back to help this ministry save the lives of others too.
These are just a few of the organizations and ministries that we have supported over the years. Along with Kingdom Causes Bellflower to help provide housing and job placement for the homeless, several high school softball, basketball and baseball teams and more. We are a small business, family-operated and Christian company with a big heart.
